I’m interested in talking on Skype with other people learning Greek.  If you are interested, use email address or the Skype buttons below to contact me.

I’ve added Greek as a language in Windows (look in Control Panel; Regional and Language options; langauges; details).  I change from English to Greek and back by pressing the left Alt key and Shift. Then abcdef becomes αβψδεφ. That means that by Skype we can talk and share text.

If people work with me on it, I can put up webpages with tests, questions and other challenges that will help us learn.

I know a few humdred words and want to put them into practice.

It’s a group of unpaid unqualified peers, so set your expectations accordingly.  I check what I write, but I’m not a teacher and I advise you to check what you read yourself and ask questions to a qualified teacher.

Here is a screen shot of how I’m thinking us using online tools to help the conversation.

We can read questions and get prompts off the top left of the screen from this website.

We can use Skype to share my screen and show our video feeds.

We can use google translate (chat) to translate things and keep a record.

We could even use Jing to record the screen and a digital recorder to record our voice (only if we agree this on the call).

We can use the internet to enrich our online conversation.
